There' s always time for a mouth - watering stop to taste at one' s leisure the famous fish soup or chowder, the stockfish with potatoes, meats cooked in porchetta or grilled, the Fabriano salami, the tripe alla canapina, the vincisgrassi pasta, rabbit with potacchio, all served by a nice glass of Docwine, like Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Lacrima di Morro d' Alba, RossoConero and many others more.

The genuine taste and flavour of local delicacies, provide several pleasant occasions, fixed appointments for good food and wine followers. The most famous product is wine, pride of the territory being the DOC wines Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Rosso Conero and Lacrima di Morro d' Alba. From may to October there are a many weekends that celebrate with traditional grape and wine festivals the most famous are : Arcevia, Cerreto d' Esi,Cupramontana, Montecarotto, Morro d' Alba and Staffolo. Sapa, a sweet wine product is the protagonist at Rosora. Cicerchia a tasty pulse, rediscovered at Serra de' Conti, along with fig roll and Serra bread. Onions based dishes are prepared for the September festival at Castelleone. Local Extravirgin Olive Oil is increasingly recognised, especially around Monte S.Vito, as is the excellent honey and cheese production. Finally, the characteristic salame di Fabriano or soft ciauscolo to eat with bread, preferably from the bread fair Pane nostrum held at Senigallia, the most important of its kind.In order to taste and get to know better these delicacies, Ancona Province organises Tipica, a fair dedicated to localmproduce.
